Alappaa has experience in the development of a variety of Educational tools, in person, and online. Myrna Pokiak lead the GNWT Aboriginal Cultural Orientation Package titled, Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training. This package was developed to educate employees and visitors to the GNWT website on the Northwest Territories from the persepectives of Metis, Dene, and Inuvialuit. Alappaa incorporates a wide variety of tools to support online learning, including the use of videos, photos, interviews, and a series of questions to engage learners individually or in small groups, guided with or without an instructor.
